Spring is kick-off season for many home sellers, and you might have a lot of “home work” on your plate if you are planning to put your house on the market soon, or to bring it out of its winter hibernation (if its been sitting on the market for a while.)

Why wait until the weather is beautiful to do all that work? That’s when you’ll be wanting to go hiking and biking and camping… not decluttering your closets and recaulking your bathtub.

So now is the best time to enjoy the great indoors and get some of that house cleaning behind you. And, if you live in an area where you can go outside without a parka, you may be able to get going on your landscaping and gardening very soon too.

That’s actually a very good point. It does seem like it would be a waste to be doing the major cleaning when the weather’s great. I actually might start whatever cleaning I can do now.

And remember to throw in some commensurate reward for your efforts for added motivation!
