Home Selling Tip: Focus on Buyer Descriptions
One way to get buyers to your front door who would specifically be interested in your home is to craft a sales message that would appeal directly to that group.
For example, if your home is the perfect place for young couples just starting out, your sales description should emphasize features such as a secure fenced-in backyard, a cheerful family dining area, a kid’s bonus room and excellent nearby schools.
If your home would be perfect for retirees, your message should include features such as easy maintenance inside and out, no stairs, and local shopping, restaurants and medical facilities.
With so many houses on the market in some areas of the country, by targeting your message to a specific group, you will stand out amongst a sea of competing houses — especially when you use a title for your home description that captures the attention of that group, such as “Easy, Economical Living On One Floor.”
With a title like this, it’s much easier and faster for a house hunter or Realtor to find your property and single it out when they are skimming through a long list of possibilities.

Good tips Joan! A description that targets the specific niche market is a plus. I think lots of pictures help as well.
