Do This One Thing To Help Sell Your House

Happy Thanksgiving to Home Sellers Happy Thanksgiving week everybody! Hopefully you have a little time off from your usual schedule.

This is a great time to find one thing you can do this week that’s completely different than your typical activities. One thing you haven’t done yet that just might help you reach your goal of home selling.

You might already know exactly what this one thing is. It might be decluttering an area in your home, or creating a more attractive winter entrance way, or repainting your mailbox or house numbers.

Or, you can take a few moments to brainstorm a novel way to market your home that you haven’t tried yet. For example, sending out an email with attractive photos and a list of amenities of your property and neighborhood to all your friends — and telling them to pass it on to anyone who is home shopping. A friend of mine did this and found a buyer! It can’t hurt. It’s free and you never know who it might bring you.

Then, after you’ve done your “one thing,” remember to reward yourself for your effort. Pick something you’d like to do and make sure you do it, whether it’s relaxing with your favorite magazine or eating one amazing chocolate espresso truffle. This way you’re a two-time winner: Not only did you do something that might help sell your house, you also get to enjoy doing something special that you’ve earned from your efforts.

For hundreds of fast, easy ways to get more buyers to your front door, check out the Home Seller’s Blues And How To Beat Them eBook, available for immediate reading on your computer for $9.95.

I just finished reading HSB, what a delightful book. You took a tough topic and made it light and do-able, great ideas and approach, this should be required reading for ALL home buyers and sellers and their agents.
