About

Joan Gale Frank Hi, I’m Joan Gale Frank and I created the Home Selling Blues Blog as a place where frustrated home sellers and real estate agents can go to gather and share information to make home selling easier, faster, saner, and even more enjoyable during this slow housing market.

I created this site because I had my house on market for about a year and during that time I did a lot of fretting, complaining and feeling out of control of my life. Being I’ve never been a big fan of suffering for more than a few minutes, I started looking for solutions to all of my home selling problems.

I consulted with experts in many fields to help me address a wide range of issues such as how to increase my home’s curb appeal for $20 or under, how to deal with ongoing anxiety while waiting for my house to sell, and how to attract the right people to my front door – who would be truly interested in buying my house.

I talked to professional home stagers, landscapers, top real estate agents, psychologists and more, who shared just the advice I needed to overcome my home selling troubles.

Their advice paid off. I sold my house and I actually had a pretty good time while waiting for a buyer. Rather than keep what I learned to myself, I’m writing this blog to help others who are experiencing the same home selling problems that I did.

I also have a book available called, Home Seller’s Blues And How To Beat Them. The book contains hundreds of ideas to help you sell your house faster, sleep better at night, keep your spirits up during the day, and maybe sell your house for a little more money. The book is available for immediate download at www.homesellersblues.com. Or you can find it on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble eBooks, or at the Apple iBookstore.

I look forward to hearing from you and sharing comments while you go through the home selling experience. Why suffer from the Home Seller’s Blues alone? Join our group and overcome the blues!
